Report of the 4TU.AMI Community Event 2025 in Wageningen
The purpose of the annual 4TU.AMI Community Event is to bring together members of the five partner applied mathematics institutes (AMI) in order to get to know colleagues and catch up with old ones, explore common research or teaching interests, invite collaboration, and receive updates on current 4TU.AMI funded projects, including the so-called Strategic Research Initiatives or SRIs.
Winners MATH+ Advent Calendar 2024
The top-3 of Dutch pupils who participated in the MATH+ Advent Calender 2024 are Casper Heimel (Utrechts Stedelijk Gymnasium), Arjen van der Schee (Van Lodenstein College, Amersfoort) and Jouke Klumpers (Stanislascollege Westplantsoen, Delft).
Groningen formal member of 4TU.AMI
Around two years ago, 4TU.AMI started to actively investigate ways to collaborate with the applied mathematics groups of the Bernoulli Institute of the University of Groningen ((UG). We are happy to announce that this has led to the University of Groningen now joining 4TU.AMI as a formal member, alongside Delft, Eindhoven, Twente and Wageningen.
Funding
To promote and strengthen mathematics in the Netherlands, 4TU.AMI offers funding for events and projects in the field of applied mathematics.

Brendan Kelly: empowering students to engage with mathematics
